Spring Training wrap 2026 (AL)

This article and its companion NL article are simply designed to give you some last minute snapshots in some unsettled pens as we start the season. Remember that bullpens are always dynamic. What is true today will change tomorrow--and that is the case during Spring Training, during the first month, during the last month, and everything in-between.

We start with the Athletics, where Baseball HQ projects a mix and match job share where four different relievers each get an equal eight saves. Will it happen this way? Almost certainly not, but it will unfold in some way where roles morph a bit and some relievers emerge over others and fluidity will determine what happens, especially in the early going.
