A week into August we are distilling down to the 20 relievers who have 1) at least a 20% K%-BB% to-date, 2) no more than a 1.1 HR/9 to-date, and 3) a projected 20% K%-BB% or more for the balance of the season. There are only 20 and not surprisingly, 13 of them are closers. Six of the seven remaining relievers in set-up are left-handed. These are your elite skills arms to bet on for ERA/WHIP in the stretch run. Anything can happen in just 15 or so innings, but these are the best bets and most of them will get you saves.
