RELIEVERS: Second half cream-of-the-crop skills

This week, the column examines the second half projections. The lists are created by taking only relievers projected for 25 or more innings, a Dom of 7.0 or greater, a Cmd of 2.5 or greater, a hr/9 of 1.0 or fewer and a xERA at or under 3.50. These are the cream-of-the-crop projected skills. This gives us 30 relievers—15 closers and 15 middle relievers. The only surprise is that there are 17 in the AL and only 13 in the NL. This could make for a good strategic source of ERA/WHIP in AL-only leagues during July and August. Without further ado, here are the lists, starting with AL closers:

IP ERA WHIP Dom Cmd hr/9 xERA G/F BPV $

This column covers relievers who might cost you a lot chasing saves but then fizzle out because of skills or injury risk.

This is the annual sleepers column, but let's be honest: There are no sleepers. There are relievers with great skills who are cheaper than they should be ... and that's what you want anyway.
