RELIEVERS: Rockies, Tigers, Rays, Cubs

This week, we use the tools on BaseballHQ.com under "Leading Indicators." First, a "Saves At Risk" chart which provides a list of closers with a BPV under 80, and second, a "Closer Caliber" chart that provides non-closers with top skills. Colorado has relievers on both lists, which makes it a good place to start.

LaTroy Hawkins (RHP, COL) is the closer for Colorado. But his 28 BPV puts him on the "Saves At Risk" chart. Meanwhile, Adam Ottavino (RHP, COL) has a 148 BPV, which puts him on the "Closer Caliber" chart. Skills to date:

COL IP Dom Cmd HR/9 xERA BPV Clean/App LI
