RELIEVERS: Continuing sagas at the quarter pole

This week, the search for the most interesting situations at the quarter pole is more commentary on the continuing sagas in some pens—and new issues in others. We start in Arizona.

Arizona lost closer J.J. Putz (RHP, ARI) to an elbow problem that will take him out most, if not all, of the year. The Diamondbacks plugged in Heath Bell (RHP, ARI) with some success, so far:

This is the annual sleepers column, but let's be honest: There are no sleepers. There are relievers with great skills who are cheaper than they should be ... and that's what you want anyway.
