What had been chronic offensive issues in the SEA middle infield are now isolated to 2B, thanks to J.P. Crawford's (SS, SEA) sudden performance surge. Crawford added both weight and strength during the offseason, but results from his extensive offseason work at Driveline Baseball were slow to come, and hidden partly by a 22% h% in June. But since the end of that month, Crawford has posted a .917 OPS through 135 PA, and now has a career-high 10 HR that's likely to grow even further.
