AL West: France on thin ice in SEA?

A 3.25 rotation ERA to date has kept the club at or near the top thus far in the AL West, making a poor offensive start easier to tolerate. And the Mariners have more than a few underperformers currently in their everyday lineup. But right now, Ty France is resembling his disappointing 2023 self than the 2021-22 version that had locked down the Mariners' 1B job by hitting 38 HR and posting an OPS close to .800. Following a 2023 season in which he posted a .702 OPS with just 12 HR over 665 PA, France now owns a .248/.310/.342 line with just 2 HR through 129 PA), with underlying peripherals that show little to no improvement.

A change doesn't look imminent, and perhaps France's bottom line improves with warmer weather--but...
