RELIEVERS: Early problems in several pens

This column is about skills, and not in a good way. There are a number of bullpen situations that warrant discussion based off the early adversity. Remain focused on the projected skills, as a general matter. Often, relievers take a little longer to get their mechanics, or face the wrong situation the first week, and because we are talking five, seven, nine inning totals, it looks like more of a mess than it actually is. It is still worthwhile to stay informed, of course. With a lot of ground to cover in this column, let's start in Colorado.
