The obvious problem here at the end of 2022 was starting pitching, and it's been addressed in a hurry this off-season. Along with re-signing last year's "ace" Martín Pérez, the Rangers were able to add Jacob deGrom, Andrew Heaney and Jake Odorizzi to their rotation. Together with Jon Gray, this group comprises a more experienced and much-improved group than last year's ... at least on paper. All of these new Ranger pitchers (as well as Gray) come with "F" health grades and a long list of IL time in recent seasons. TEX seems likely to need more rotation help early and often in 2023.

Which means that 2022 starters Dane Dunning and Glenn Otto (the 2022 team IP leaders behind Pérez) will again get starting nods, particularly...
