PT TOMORROW: AL Central—Saladino silently seeing starts

In the May 5 PT Tomorrow, the analysis of the CHW SS position was mostly gloom and doom. Worse yet, there was no immediate help from the farm. Jimmy Rollins (SS, CHW) continues to struggle against RHPs, now batting .184 (125 AB) on a 77% ct% and 23% h%. Given that he hit .204 (406 AB) vs. righties in 2015, the feel-good story of Rollins earning a starting job in 2016 may be on its way to a sad ending.

After pointing out Tyler Saladino's (SS, CHW; pictured above) issues with part time at-bats in that May 5 column (.154 BA, 26 AB), he went on a 7-for-16 tear in limited action. Manager Robin Ventura quietly began to give Saladino more frequent starts, and he's responded so far with an 11-for-44 mark and two HR plus two SB...
