One of the hottest players during the month of May was Andrew Benintendi (OF, KC), going 33-for-97 with 17 walks and settling into the #3 slot in the lineup, with a couple of starts at cleanup against left-handed pitching. With all of those positives for strong averages and run scoring, he still comes up a little short on power (career 102 xPx but only 82x Px in 2021 to date) and while he runs often (18% SBO%), he has a poor conversion rate (six steals in eleven attempts). 

Meanwhile, Edward Olivares (OF, KC; pictured above) had been lighting up Triple-A East, slashing .395/.473/.654 in 81 AB at AAA-Omaha. That included five home runs, a triple, and four doubles to go along with 7-for-8 on the basepaths, and launched...
