Fernando Tatis (SS/OF, SD) has found himself in the headlines plenty this season despite the fact that he hasn’t appeared in a single game. Unfortunately, the PED suspension that cost him the remainder of the 2022 season, and an early portion of the 2023 campaign, is only the start of the conversation surrounding the risk associated with drafting/rostering him. Tatis will also undergo shoulder surgery on an injury that cost him time throughout 2021, and let's not forget that he was sidelined the entire 2022 campaign for a wrist injury he suffered during the offseason. In total, we have two significant injuries and a PED suspension standing in between his last and next plate appearances in the majors.
