DIVISIONAL OUTLOOK: NL West—Dodgers' options at 3B uninspiring

Luis Cruz (3B, LA) became a fixture in the lineup during the second half of last season, and the results were mixed. Both his 88% contact rate and 24% line drive rate were solid, leading to a .297 batting average. But he also posted an abysmal 3% walk rate and below average speed and power. His skill set may be fine for a utility player, but not for an everyday third baseman. He sits atop the depth chart, but has others pushing him for playing time.
