The Mariners re-signed Josh Naylor this offseason and return a solid top half of their batting order. The back end of the batting order is another story, though. One of the significant question marks at the bottom of the batting order is Ben Williamson at third base. The Mariners could stick with Williamson, as they did for the first half of last season, or they could bring someone new to the team, or even elevate a prospect.
Williamson played 85 games for the Mariners last season, hitting .253 with a home run and five stolen bases. He had a .058 ISO and 76 wRC+ while barreling the ball 3.3% of the time. Williamson played third base for the Mariners, but he did not contribute much offensively. He did show some better...
