Don’t look now, but our old pal Victor Robles started the last three games in the outfield before the All-Star break—two in LF and one in RF. Truth be told, averting your eyes may well be the wise choice here. But like a flight attendant desperately tugging on your leg to prevent you from getting sucked out of a Boeing jet mid-flight, Robles keeps pulling us back in.

A brief refresher: after many years of hoping that the tantalizing skills from 2019 (17 HR, 28 SB) would manifest again, the Nationals released Robles June 1, and he was quickly scooped up by the Mariners a couple days later. Before the cut, he had suffered through a monthlong absence due to a hamstring injury, and anyone stubborn enough to roster him...
