AL East: Mayo making case for a call-up

Baltimore Orioles

Since Jorge Mateo’s return from the IL on June 11, both Mateo (16 starts in 25 games) and Ramón Urías (14 starts in 25 games) have maintained semi-regular roles. Urías has not fared much better than Mateo this season (.239/.309/.377 in 152 PA), though he has been a better hitter than Mateo since June 11 (.259/.344/.370 in 61 PA).
