NEWS: The A’s placed SS Jacob Wilson on the 10-day IL with a fractured left forearm and recalled SS Darell Hernaiz from the minors.

What was originally suggested to merely be a hand contusion turned out to be a wrist fracture for Wilson, who was in the midst of a breakout debut campaign (.312 BA, 10 homers, 7.8% K%).
