NEWS: Alex Bregman suffered multiple facial fractures, according to reports.

BHQ SPIN: Bregman, who left Sunday’s game after being hit in the face by a foul ball while in the on-deck circle, suffered multiple facial fractures from the incident, according to reports. While Chicago has not yet provided an update on the injury, reports indicate that a postseason return is “possible”, which seemingly all but rules out a return in the regular season. With Bregman sidelined, Pedro Ramirez is the favorite to pick up at-bats at third base, though Matt Shaw could also mix in.
