Tiger turnover: DET deals Rogers to BAL, summons Clark from AAA

Detroit Tigers
NEWS: Detroit is expected to call up CF Max Clark from AAA-Toledo.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: The 21 year old Clark was selected No. 3 overall in the 2023 First-Year Player Draft, and is currently the Tigers top prospect. He is expected to immediately step in as Detroit's everyday center fielder, a roster shift that will push Javier Báez into a utility role. Clark’s promotion comes on the heels of a massive mid-summer turnaround. After scuffling through the end of May with just two home runs in his first 50 games, he caught fire at the plate. Over his last 40 games, Clark blasted nine home runs, and has a blistering 1.086 OPS in the month of July.
