Snell rejoins Dodgers rotation

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Los Angeles Dodgers
NEWS: The Dodgers activated LHP Blake Snell from the IL and optioned RHP Paul Gervase to Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: Snell was activated to make the start on August 2 against the Rays after missing four months with left shoulder inflammation. Snell gave up 5 H and 3 ER with 8 K and 0 BB over 5.0 IP, but picked up the loss. If he can stay healthy, Snell will slot into a spot in the Dodgers six-man rotation for the final two months of the season. Gervase was acquired at the trade deadline from the Rays as a part of a three-team trade and could return to the Dodgers if they need a fresh bullpen arm down the stretch.
