NEWS: LAA placed IF Luis Rengifo on the 10-day IL with right wrist inflammation and recalled IF Charles Leblanc.

BHQ SPIN: Rengifo’s right wrist has been an issue since the beginning of July. He spent almost three weeks on the IL in a previous stint, and after it flared up again since his July 23 activation, the team shut him back down. One could surmise this might be a longer absence, given the Angels’ position in the standings. We’ve knocked back Rengifo’s projected playing time, and sprinkled it among Michael Stefanic Luis Guillorme, who seem likely to share the 2B job for now.
