NEWS:  Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright is expected to miss several weeks with a groin injury.

IMPACT:  Medium

BHQ SPIN:  Allegedly suffering from a Team USA workout injury, the Opening Day starter’s absence opens a spot in the rotation, reported to be claimed by Jake Woodford (RHP, STL). Considering Wainwright’s age, we’ll dock him 2.5% for now – monitoring his progress and adjusting accordingly over the next month. Woodford (+1.5%) will get the bulk of that available PT, with the remaining innings to be portioned out as final roster selections are determined over the next week.
