| Toronto Blue Jays RP Brett Cecil (shoulder) has been removed from the closer role, at least temporary, according to manager John Gibbons. Cecil's velocity was down to 87-88 mph Wednesday, April 8, and he admitted he is a couple weeks behind due to the shoulder soreness he dealt with during spring training.
