Brewers | Eric Thames close to returning
Milwaukee Brewers 1B/OF Eric Thames (thumb) could be activated from the disabled list after the team returns from their road trip, according to manager Craig Counsell. Thames has collected three singles in eight at-bats through his first two rehab games with Class AAA Colorado Springs and has split time between first base and left field, although he received the day off Friday, June 8.  Source: MLB.com - Joe Bloss
