Nationals | Denard Span to miss opener
Washington Nationals OF Denard Span (hernia) underwent surgery to repair a hernia Monday, March 9, and will miss four to six weeks. OF Michael A. Taylor will receive the bulk of the repetitions in center field.  Source: The Washington Post - Chelsea Janes
 
BHQ take: Denard Span has now undergone two surgeries since the end of the 2014 season and will not resume baseball activities until the beginning or middle of April.
