NEWS: Seattle activated OF Julio Rodríguez from 10-day IL and 3B Abraham Toro sent to AAA-Tacoma. 2B/OF Sam Haggerty placed on the 10-day IL and Toro was promptly again promoted to the Mariners.

BHQ SPIN: Rodríguez was promptly put back into the leadoff spot on Monday 10/3 and went 3-4 with a double. He was not in the lineup for the first game of the double header on 10/4, but back in the lineup for the nightcap. The likely AL ROY winner is hopefully over his back ailments and ready to go for the playoff bound Mariners.
