BHQ SPIN: To take Donaldson’s spot on the roster, the team recalled INF Oswald Peraza from Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, and he started back-to-back games at third base and hit leadoff July 17 and 18. Though INF DJ LeMahieu could see time at the position as well, the team seems to be intent on seeing if Peraza can provide a jolt for a team lacking offensive punch, especially as the absence of OF Aaron Judge drags on.
