Yankees | James Paxton placed on injured list
The New York Yankees placed LHP James Paxton (knee) on the 10-day injured list Saturday, May 4, due to left knee inflammation. In a corresponding move, they have recalled RHP Jake Barrett from Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.  Source: New York Post - Joel Sherman
 
BHQ take: Results of Paxton's MRI have not been made available as of this writing, but manager Aaron Boone reported that there was no swelling in the left knee, only soreness. Jonathan Loáisiga is expected to take Paxton's next few turns in the rotation, and further adjustments may be needed once...
