BHQ take: Not only did Panik sign with the Mets on Aug. 9, he was in the lineup batting eighth that night. Panik is expected to get plenty of playing time in the immediate future. It’s possible he could play regularly against right-handed pitching. Panik was only batting .235 with the Giants, but his xBA was 30 points higher.
