BHQ take: Essentially, the LF field spot in SD looks fluid going forward, as to the playing times of Pirela and Renfroe. Pirela has enjoyed a terrific spring, going 14-for-30 with two HR and six BB—and suggesting that his 2017 breakout (.288/.282 BA/xBA, 106 HctX, 122 PX) may not have been a one-off. It sounds like he'll factor into LF and a hotly contested 2B spot early...
