Mets | Jed Lowrie playing in extended spring training
New York Mets INF Jed Lowrie (knee) is receiving as many as eight at-bats per day in extended spring training games, according to manager Mickey Callaway. However, it is uncertain if he will also require an official rehab assignment in the minor leagues before coming off the injured list.  Source: MLB.com
 
BHQ take: Lowrie has been playing in minor league rehab games for the better part of a week and appears likely to be likely to be activated by next week. Lowrie is coming off a career year—.260 xBA with 23 homers and a 125 xPX—so with the Mets' offense...
