Reds | Devin Mesoraco likely to need surgery
Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Reds C Devin Mesoraco (hip) is likely to require surgery on his hip that would need a four-month recovery. However, he's trying to do all possible treatments in the meantime.  Source: MLB.com - Mark Sheldon
 
BHQ take: This is the first time a report suggests a possibility Mesoraco could be shut down at some point during the season. He has been used exclusively as a PH since first suffering the hip injury April 12. He will reportedly play DH in upcoming interleague play in AL ballparks, though his return to catching remains...
