Nationals | Kelvin Herrera suffers serious leg injury
Washington Nationals RHP Kelvin Herrera (leg) had to be carted off the field with a serious injury to his lower leg Sunday, Aug. 25.  Source: 1 No Source

BHQ take: The results of X-rays were pending at this writing, but Herrera was already in a boot in the Washington locker room after the game, suggesting he’s almost certainly headed to the DL. Ryan Madson will reportedly be activated early this week and he will probably slide into the closer role, at least until Sean Doolittle returns. Doolittle reportedly is getting close.  —Phil Hertz
