Rockies | Three COL players make Opening Day roster
Colorado Rockies OF Matt Kemp, INF Chris Owings and RP Daniel Bard have all been informed that they will be on the club's Opening Day roster, according to general manager Jeff Bridich.  Source: The Athletic - Nick Groke

BHQ take: We touched on the Bard story the other day; Owings will come off the bench as a utility. The most interesting name here is Kemp, particularly with the DH now in Coors Field. He too projects as a part-timer, but the COL OF looks fragile these days -- and the 35-year-old Kemp still has some pop left in his bat.  —Jock Thompson
