BHQ SPIN:The main playing time beneficiary of Hoskins’ injury is likely Darick Hall. He had an .858 OPS in 443 Triple-A plate appearances in 2022 as well as an .804 OPS over 142 plate appearances with Philadelphia, but that came with a 68% contact rate in the majors and struggles against lefties at both levels. Those struggles could lead to a platoon arrangement. There is, however, no logical platoon partner aside from utility players like Josh Harrison or Kody Clemens.
