St. Louis Cardinals SS Jhonny Peralta (illness) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Thursday, April 20. The move is retroactive to Sunday, April 16.  Source: MLBRosterMoves
 
BHQ take: Peralta was off to a very slow start with just three singles over his first 25 at-bats. Earlier on April 20, the news out of St. Louis was that he had been replaced by Jedd Gyorko as the regular third baseman.
