Athletics | Sean Doolittle activated
Oakland Athletics RP Sean Doolittle (shoulder) was activated from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, May 26, and RP Angel Castro was optioned to Class AAA Nashville in a corresponding move.  Source: MLB.com
 
BHQ take: OAK has said that Doolittle will be eased back into the closer role, so Tyler Clippard will continue to get some save chances in the short term, at least. Doolittle was lights-out last year as the A's closer, with a stellar 200 BPV and 22 Saves in less than a full season.
