NEWS: Miami activated Johnny Cueto off the 60-day IL, optioned Sean Reynolds to Triple-A Jacksonville, and transferred Jonathan Davis to the 60-day IL.

BHQ SPIN: Cueto has been out since April 3rd when he made his only start of the season. He’s coming off a 2022 season, in which he had a great deal of success - 3.35 ERA - but not success that was supported by his skills. His xERA was a run higher and his BPV was a mundane 75. We’ve bumped his projected innings from 4% to 6% while we see how he’s used and how he fares. Reynolds spent the July 7th weekend with the Marlins, but did not see any action. His 7D Call-up rating suggests he’s worth keeping an eye on, but for now he’s not...
