NEWS: San Francisco signed shortstop Carlos Correa to a 13-year, $350 million contract with a full no-trade clause.

BHQ SPIN: After missing out on signing Aaron Judge, it was only a matter of time before the Giants dolled out a boatload of money for a big name free agent. Correa wound up being their man and will be the biggest star for the franchise since Buster Posey retired. He will bat in the middle of the lineup, slotting in at shortstop on a daily basis. The move likely shifts Brandon Crawford to third base and moves Wilmer Flores into a utility role.
