Padres | Andrew Cashner placed on DL
The San Diego Padres have placed SP Andrew Cashner (shoulder) on the 15-day disabled list because of right shoulder soreness. The team also recalled SP Odrisamer Despaigne from Triple-A El Paso.  Source: MLB.com - Corey Brock
 
BHQ take: No word on how long Cashner will be out. He sure wasn't pitching like he was injured, having allowed just one run in 7 IP during his last start, and recording a 2.36/3.56 ERA/xERA. But just three starts after returning from the DL and elbow inflammation, this isn't great news. Despaigne is a veteran Cuban import in his first year of U.S....
