BHQ take: Carlson is the Cardinals’ #1 prospect and the #15 overall prospect in baseball. He will get plenty of playing time, but for now we’re stopping short of giving him full-time at bats. First he only has 72 at bats above Double-A although to be fair, he did very well in those at bats: 1.099 OPS. Also the Cardinals have plenty of other outfield options, including Harrison Bader, Tyler...
