NEWS: Oakland placed first baseman Ryan Noda on the 10-day IL with a fractured jaw.

IMPACT: Medium

BHQ SPIN: The left-handed hitter suffered the injury during fielding practice on July 18th when a grounder hit him in the face. Noda is expected to be out for three weeks while he recovers. In his place, both Seth Brown and Tyler Soderstrom will get more looks at first base. Jonah Bride was recalled in a corresponding move and will start most games on the bench. The PT change won’t be massive due to the short timeline for Noda’s return, but Bride will get a 5% boost.
