San Diego Padres 2B Yangervis Solarte (oblique) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Friday, June 23, because of a strained oblique. The team also placed RHP Miguel Díaz (forearm) on the 10-day disabled list because of a strained left forearm.  Source: Baseball Press
 
BHQ take: No word how much time Solarte might miss, but most oblique injuries will take more than the 10-day minimum. Carlos Asuaje takes over his roster spot, and after finally heating up in June at AAA-El Paso (.292/.413/.492 over 65 AB) he will get AB at 2B in Solarte's absence. He'll likely...
