Phillies | Jake Arrieta placed on IL
Philadelphia Phillies RHP Jake Arrieta (elbow) was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Aug. 14, because of a bone spur in his right elbow. The team also selected the contract 1B Logan Morrison from Class AAA Lehigh Valley and transferred RP Jerad Eickhoff (shoulder) to the 60-day injured list.   Source: MLB.com
