| BHQ take: The initial estimate is that Lincecum will require four to six weeks before he'll be ready to join the rotation, which makes him a 2H option. Plenty can happen between now and then, but currently, the most obvious candidate for Lincecum to replace is Matt Shoemaker, who has an 8.49 ERA (5.45 xERA) and 2.1 hr/9 after seven starts.
