Roberts' BAL return accelerating

Brian Roberts (2B, BAL) enjoyed his best rehab night yet Tuesday, going 3-for-5 with two doubles at AAA-Norfolk while raising his BA to .308 in 26 AB over three minor league levels. Once dependable for a .280+ BA, 30+ SB and double-digit HR, Roberts has yet to play in 2012 due to the lingering effects of a concussion suffered last season. Now 34 years old, Roberts has recorded less than 400 AB in 2010-2011 as a result of this injury and back / abdominal issues.
