The Tampa Bay Rays placed SP David Price (triceps) on the 15-day disabled list with a left triceps strain Thursday, May 16, and recalled SP Alexander Torres from the minors in a corresponding move.  Source: Tampa Bay Times - Joe Smith
 
BHQ take: Early indications are that Price will only miss 2 or 3 starts while on the DL, and there is not expected to be any long term impact. In looking at his game logs, his last full start (May 9 vs TOR) shows 9 fly balls versus 8 ground balls in 8 innings pitched; this is the only time in his eight 2013 starts...
