Rays | Desmond Jennings lands on DL
The Tampa Bay Rays placed OF Desmond Jennings (finger) on the 15-day disabled list Monday, Aug. 5. He missed the game Sunday, Aug. 4, due to what the team thought was a sprain of his left middle finger. Further tests by a hand specialist Monday revealed a small fracture.  Source: Tampa Bay Times - Marc Topkin
 
BHQ take: Jason Bourgeois was recalled from Triple-A as the corresponding move, and may get some looks in the leadoff spot. He has led off in 54 career games, and sports a .346 BA for his first AB in those situations....
