Blue Jays | Edwin Encarnación makes fifth appearance at 3B
Toronto Blue Jays 1B Edwin Encarnación made his fifth appearance at third base Wednesday, June 5, against the San Francisco Giants. With the team returning home Friday, June 7, Encarnacion will shift back to his regular first base position. He had been moved across the diamond to allow manager John Gibbons to get 1B Adam Lind into the lineup at first base since the team did not have the designated hitter spot in a National League park.  Source: MLB.com - Gregor Chisholm
