Axford officially back as Milwaukee closer

Substitute closers Manny Parra (RHP, MIL) and Jim Henderson (RHP, MIL) did their best to blow Tuesday night's game against the Cubs, allowing two runs in the ninth inning before deposed closer John Axford (RHP, MIL) was called in to get the final out and post his 19th save.  After the game manager Ron Roenicke said that Axford is being reinstated as the closer and admitted that has been his preference all along.  Axford was handed the ball in a save situation on Wednesday, and he converted again.  He did allow one hit, but he fanned three.
